The iPhone 5 requires a nano sim to function so obviously a sim swap is required in order to retain your old number upon switching to iPhone.
On Friday 12 April 2013 I went in to the Nashua Ballito branch in order to process my sim swap. Samantha Foster told me to wait 24 hours and keep my phone switched off.By Sunday (14/4) there was still no service on my iPhone. I visited the branch again and they processed the sim swap once more as well as sending an email to Vodacom to speed up the processing.
Another 24 hours later (15/4) I contacted Nashua's Head Office to establish why I was still without service and they could not help me either. I spoke to Clement and Eugene at the call centre.
Today is Saturday 20/4 and there is still no service on my iPhone. This is so frustrating and Nashua and Vodacom will lose a very loyal customer (I've been with them since 1995!) if they do not act promptly!
