Still no handset

This refers to my complaint on Hello Peter (Poor Service) dated 2013/04/11. Im utterly disgusted by your empty and endless promises. Its over 20 days now and still no handset. I was called by Sipho from customer services who promised that I would have my handest within one working day which clearly never happened. Im under the impression that Cell C responds to custmer complaints on Hello Peter just to protect their fake public image. After being pushed from pillar to post, I STILL DONT HAVE THE HANDSET, YET I WAS BILLED!!!

This is unacceptable, as I feel Cell C has incompetent staff, who are well trained in making empty promises instead of delivering the expected service. I then decided to cancel the contract given that im not getting any joy, and the handset constitutes an essential part of the contract. I was told im going to be liable for a cancellation fee. Now can someone explain to me how does one pay for what they dont have. Who is in breach of contract here??

Its suprising how the Consumer Protection Act / Ombudsman Would let Cell C get away with its customers for their own incompetencies.
