I am not a Vodacom fan, I consider it, like MTN and Cell C and all the others, an evil necessity, so today - 2 months overdue, I went in to go through the grind of upgrading my cellphone account. I wasn't sure what phone to get, what package to carry on with etc... but I was fortunate enough to be directed to the Vodacom4U outlet and to a young man by the name of Trevor Shabangu. I spent about 20 minutes there while this young man explained everything to me, often 3 x where necessary, all the time making me laugh and really going the extra mile to make sure I was happy with my choices. He not only checked that I wasn't overspending on value added services that I didn't need on the contract I was upgrading but went through my business contract as well and streamline that for me. He was utterly charming, professional and I was absolutely bowled over by his attitude - nothing was too much trouble. He had a lovely sense of humour and I can honestly say for the first time in years, I left Vodaworld with a smile on my face and very happy with the choices I had made. What a pleasant surprise in this day and age, to get great service!
