Pathetic service

My Vodacom account was in arrears and they threatened to stop my account (which is fine) and then I paid it in full. the next day they said it is still in arrears so I thought they are just a bit slow and will see that I paid it. Next thing my account is frozen and I cant do anything. I don't get notified of anything. 5 days later I phone the customer care and they tell me that they only saw that I paid now. Then they activate it.

1 month later I try to pay account via EasyPay at my local Checkers and the number is invalid. I go to Vodacom and they tell me that EasyPay is not allowed anymore. No notification whatsoever. it just stops working.

I decide that I have enough of this and want to switch over to prepaid so that I can top up using the Vodacom app or switch to another mobile service provider. Vodacom tells me that I need to wait for my contract to expire in 8 months time. Now I opened my account 7 years ago. I recently switched it over to a NO PHONE contract which they said explicitly that I DON'T have to wait if I want to cancel it, I only have to give notice of one month.
