I decided to take up one of the MTN offers for a data contract, I have my own device so I just needed a sim and the contract, being an MTN customer for the last 20 years I thought that it would be easy enough to do, after visiting the shop at Clear Water Mall and being asked for my gross monthly income and some other questions I was then given an application form but it has my old address and other information on it, I am told that if we update it I will have to provide proof etc. and the shop assistant did not want to do that and advised me to supply the form as is. I decided to stop and try via the MTN website and shop direct as my other contract is directly with MTN, three days later and not a word or a acknowledgement from MTN. So I guess it is time to look at what the other service providers are offering as apparently loyalty to a brand or service provider counts for nothing.
