Since I no longer have a laptop I decided to cancel (buy out) my mtn contract. I also had problems with connectivity.
There are two mtn shops in Brooklyn Mall. At the first shop an assistant told me that I couldn't cancel my contract there since they did not have a card machine. She told me the other store would be able to help me.
I approached a representative at the larger shop and asked to cancel my contract. When it became clear that I wanted to buy out my contract he told me he couldn't help me and that I should dial a number instead.
I have still not succeeded in cancelling (buying out) my contract.
