Vodacom High Prices can't be Explained

My contract is up renewal in a couple of months so I started looking around what contract and phone I will take, after some on line shopping I found that Vodacom is R200 a month more expensive than Mtn on a contract for a Samsung galaxy S3, being a vodcom customer since I had my first phone number I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and called them to ask why they where so much more expensive and the Lady I spoke couldn't give me one reason why Vodacom higher price is justified she them went on to explain to me that because I only have a contract of 384 a month there is nothing they can do for as I need to spend R800 or more a month to qualify for a lower rate, I don't see the reason why I need stay and a Vodacom customer of Vodacom they don't care if your a customer of theirs or not. then I called to find out about there data rates as they advertise 1GB for R149.00 but when I wanted to load data it was R279 a GB when I called them once again I was told it only applies to new contracts and pre-paid once again disappointing, it's sad but I just cannot stay with a service provider that repays loyalty like this.
