VODACOM ILLEGALLY UPGRADES MY CONTRACT

I took a 24 Months contract with Vodacom through their MENLYN Store, this was for a Samsung Galaxy S2 (R279/m). The period elapsed and I did not send in a request for termination. I later decided to do an upgrade on the contract, about 2 months after the 24th month. To my shock I was told my contract has been upgraded, the new contractual value was R479/m and it is only then when I was told the payments will start going through the very same month end. The handset was already delivered by then. The "new customer" took delivery of the new phone at the Vodacom store in QUAGGA shopping center, I am told by Vodacom staff via phone. I then made an affidavit to prove I did not give instruction to upgrade the contract. I sent it through to Vodacom and called in to request my account be blocked and subsequently cancelled. I was told that cannot happen until they prove I did not instruct for an upgrade and the account will continue to be billed. I have thus far been swindled of R4500 by Vodacom (Which I will demand a refund to the last penny). Vodacom tells me they have appointed a Sindy Jentile to investigate. She doesn't return calls or have feedback on the investigation when she does.
