Illegal Sim Swop cost me dearly

On my 72nd birthday, Sunday, 24 March 2013, we had a braai with my children. Later that evening I saw that my phone was out of service - like no signal. It was only the next morning that I realised that it says on my phone that the sim is not registered? At about 14:30 Monday, I went to Vodacom In Port Shepstone to do a simswop, as they said that is the only way for my phone to be working again. As the new sim was activated, all the messages came through from Sunday afternoon... Sim swop this and Sim swop that. Not only sim swop, but when they had my number, they acquired my pin or something through having my "phone" and got access to my bank account and withdrew everything. Now my bank, Absa, is saying they can not be held responsible because a One Time Pin is needed and was sent to my phone... I spoke with Vodacom's call centre and they managed to tell me (according to the recording they made) that it was an African Male who did the sim swop over the phone and in fact phoned twice to activate the sim. I want to know what security questions did they ask him to be able to do amendments on an old lady's I.D. number??? I am furious and very upset as I am an old lady..
