Migration of Top-up Contract to Pre-paid Contract

This is now the 18th year which we are MTN clients. My wife upgraded her cell contract again on 13/02/2013. A week later, she started receiving alerts that she should "load airtime". This was the first notification that something went wrong during the upgrade. She went back to the Brits Branch (Joe Masita) and laid the first complaint. Aparently, during the upgrade, the Pre-paid contract (of 18 years) was changed to a Top-Up contract! Reason = unknown.
The first email regarding the complaint was sent to the MTN Customer Services on the 12/03/2013. ONE MONTH LATER!! I received a copy of that email, floating between Nadia Singh, Samantha Ferreira, Joe Masita, Kedibone Duze, Lungile Mngomezulu (all MTN employees) still no problem solving on MTN's part.
I still have to "load Airtime". If there is any way that I can cancel my contract with MTN, I will gladly do so, and go to any of the other service providers.
I had a problem with my Vodacom Contract, AND IT WAS SOLVED IN 15Min OVER THE PHONE!
MTN, go learn something from Vodacom.
