Number gets blocked 11 days after account was paid

11 days after I paid my account my number gets blocked because I "Haven"t paid" them yet. Unbelievable. I phone canal walk branch and the phone just gets silenced... I phone customer support got through a ridiculous maze of question just to be put on hold for a while and then cut off.
