So it was time to upgrade. I decided after MANY years with Vodacom that Cell C is by far cheaper. Tried to give my notice at Vodacom - 'cause I an going to Cell C. The "Upgrades Consultant" offered me free data on a contract to stay with Vodacom. I would be on a Smart S contract PLUS EXTRA 500MB data. I took the offer. I SHOULD NOT HAVE. ENDLESS ENDLESS problems. Since the contract was done over the phone no one made a "note" of my "extra free" data... Vodacom then claimed they made NO such promise. After MANY calls and insiting that they listen to voice recordings, they admit that I must get the free data. Now there is a problem loading the data onto my account. This issue has been ongoing over a month now. Today the excuse is that "it is month-end and the systems are slow".??!!??? They REFUSE to text the confirmation of my 500MB free data (they had no problem texting me that I "DO NOT" have 500MB extra free data) and they have so many times claimed they will call me back, but that NEVER happens. I have spent hours on the phone, hours holding, hours explaining my story... THIS IS IT!!! Take advice from me, STAY AWAY from Vodacom - HULLE IS SKELM!!!
