I have been with MTN for the past 17 years as my preferred network. I purchased a Nokia Lumia 610 after two months the phone was faulty. I took the phone to MTN Service Center in Century City for repairs on the 20th of March 2013 and I was told by the consultant that they require all the documentation that I received when I purchased the phone to do a pre warranty replacement. This is strange as they should have all the details on their systems, do we not live in a paperless world with so much computer systems. On the 22nd of March 2013 I again returned to the Service Center with all the documents and the original packaging and I was helped by another consultant who said the phone would be replaced within 7 to 14 days, it has now been 20 days and I still have had no word from them. I was given the phone number of the consultant when I handed the phone in to be able to contact them directly with any queries. I have called this consultant a number of times every day for the last 6 days and have had no return call from them at all.
I find this lack of service appalling as I pay for a service that I do not receive.
