Phone contract problem

I took contract phone in Feb 2011 and i tried to port a number but there was problems with it so I was given a new number, during thr duration of this problem i did not recieve any air-time and was told i will be credited. I was never credited and had been taking query to the branch for months after that until now. so I decided the last 5months of the contract i will not pay them as they owed me and were not doing anything about the problem. I recently got a call from a debt collector telling me I owe nashua mobile, I then told him what has been going on and he said it does not show anywhere that I had made any queries and that I should contact the nashua legal dept and when I do I get put on hold for over 10min. The contract has ended and nothing was ever done right.
