Reported problem to
24/12 Jonas called at 09h00, will be here between 09h00 and 11h00.
24/12 hellopeter responded, saying Telkom has reacted to the post.
24/12 09h45 Telkom's "Palesa" responded with escalation ref ARS 218289.
24/12 ADSL up & running again, but voice line down.
27/12 ADSL goes down again!
Reported again on 27/12/2012, response: already been reported - ref no 550681326
13/01/2013 Request line reset - ping on internet drops every second packet. After reset, no result
15/01/2013 Report 26% packet loss when ISP 's pinged. Telkom ref 659CTK150113

I am a web developer. My ADSL line is a source of income, and Telkom's partial service robs me of my income. My ISP is in Centurion, and sometimes my local websites do not react because of my poor ADSL connection. My backup line is with Vodacom, but is costing me a fortune I cannot afford.

I do not expect anything above the normal. I just need the service I am paying for.
