I never thought I'd be complimenting Telkom, but here I am. I logged a call to have a line installed. I was notified that the technician would be at my house 3 days later. Not only did he arrive, but he arrived early, installed the line quickly and was gone. No problems at all.
If I were to quibble, I still do think it shows a great deal of insensitivity for Telkom to insist on a full day appointment for the installation when it only takes 45 mins or so. Some of us do actually work.
But a big improvement from my (very painful) experiences in the past.
