Telkom ADSL failing repeatedly

We are having an issue with our Telkom ADSL line, in that it has been down several times since October last year. The major concern, is that it is our business line, and being a tax consultant, most of the connection time is spent logged into the SARS website.

We have logged faults and even reported these issues to the Telkom Direct shop in Gateway. The guys there are very pleasant, saying that, yes they can see the problem, put it into the escalation log. 2-3 days later the fault is then cleared.

A couple of weeks later the phone part of the ADSL dies, followed a day or 2 later by the actual ADSL. And this goes on and on and on.
This means that my clients cannot contact us- resulting in huge frustration on the clients behalf- and most work in the office then STOPS!!!

We have had at least 7 reported broken services since October 2012. This present outage has lasted for 3 weeks with the ADSL working for the last week - but it has now died again- but with no working telephone line.

Running a 3G card doesn't help, as being connected to SARS it seems to gobble data for very little return.

Bring on a new, reliable internet backbone provider!!
