Dear Sir
January '13 I renewed my contract at MTN and upgraded from Blackberry to IPhone4S. The contract was the same as before - a AnyTime200.
I only changed handsets. NOTHING else. Bought the micro-sim and cancelled Blackberry service.
My bill usually ranged from R300-R500. The end of January 2013 it was R1400. At the end of February, R700 & end of March R800. Also have a data contract for IPad @ R149/month for 2G.
The two contracts are linked.
My Blackberry service was never cancelled, although I signed a document to this effect. It was eventually done after much complaining
Secondly, how did I manage to double/triple my account although my actions done on my phone are no different? I started inquiring on the MTN website and registered on MTN Active and up till now I have not received satisfactory answers.
I requested an itemized bill for the 1Jan - 10 March 2013 and they sent me a bill for end of Feb while i still don't know how I got that enormous bill of R1400 end of January.
They are forever asking security questions and when they do answer, it's like I'm an.
they still have not answered me straight.
i think they are hiding something whilst thinking I'm stupid.
