Last week I ordered a phone line with ADSL from Telkom and was told that I am only able to get a speed of 2mb/s. I was fine with that so I ordered it. I also ordered my data from a different ISP.
The technician came today but found my line can only handle 384 kb/s speeds. I have two complaints about this.
1. Upgrades on lines only take place on exchanges with high ADSL usage. What about the rest? How can I run a business from home with this poor/useless service.
2. I have to pay for one month from my ISP even though I havent used any of the data.
Get you act together Telkom and upgrade the other lines too. You will find more people using the service if it is actually available!!!
