March 28, 2013 i visited 8ta in Vaal Mall to get a micro sim card. The consultant assisted me and the process was done on there system. I went back the 30th of March to complain that I cannot make any calls due to "Sim not provisioned". The consultant confirmed that the sim swop was not done due to the fact that the process is stuck in there system. I went to the 8ta store in River Square as well and explained to the consultant that i want the problem sorted. She said with an arrogant tone in her voice that the sim swop is stuck in the system she cannot do anything. I asked her if my money is stuck in the bank and i do not pay you will i still be able to use my phone? her reply was: "EISH"... They have logged a error and the problem was escalated. I was promised that the problem will be rectified in 72 hours. I phoned 8ta call centre 1 April because the problem was still not rectified. I spoke to numerous consultants and managers (Martin, Mohamed Ally) for the past 5 days.
Suddenly, after 5 days i was informed that they have a national system problem and they cannot commit to a time when my "frustration" can be rectified. I explained to them that i am an estate agent. HELP
