My laptop and modem was. For insurance purposes I had to suspend my sim card. On Sunday the 3 rd of March I visited 8ta in Woodlands, Pretoria. The did a sim swop and confirmed that I would have services within 24 hours.
On Monday night I was promised that the service is now available. I could not log on onto my new laptop. On Tuesday night I was told that my service is still in suspended mode. It would take another 24 hours. Tonight, the 6 th of March I was again told that my service is still in suspended mode.
The difference tonight was that they ONLY now tell me it can take another 7 days to resolve.
The service I got from 8ta is pathetic. They are far from being a client centric company.
Every time they tell me that the call is logged and that this is a system problem. If this was 1984 I would have happy to wait 7 days, but this is 2013.
After spending hours on the phone on my own costs I would appreciate them compensating me for the trouble they caused.
