Take double and triple payments and refuse service

How low can a company go?? 8.ta is taking double and triple payments from bank account via debit order and then denies taking the money even if you provide bank statements with the proof that they deducted the money. No matter what we do they can do what they want to because they can as they want... Where can a person draw the line? They demand that we are in arrears even if we proof that they owe us money. They cancelled the contract due to so called none payment. They also promise that they will look into the matter but as usual empty promises...
No matter what we try we cannot reach any billing department. There is no way to communicate or email all that you get is a helpless call centre. Are they running their billing dept from a spaza shop or is it just non existent?
We have already reported them to the consumer protector.

What else can a person do? Any suggestion?
