Poor customer service and treatment

I decided that I would upgrade my phone today (being Sunday 31/03/2013). We were well aware of the opening times that the MTN store has on displayed on its window, so we were not concerned when we decided to arrive at the store just before 14:00.

Unfortunately, upon our arrival one of the employees, Ricardo, simply shut the door before we could walk in (there were still many customers inside). We assumed that it must be due to the aircon (after all, the sign said that they were still open for a few hours) so we opened the door and walked in.

Ricardo told us to leave as the store was closed. He said that it was "optional trading hours today" due to the p/h. I pointed out that the sign said open till 17:00 on p/h's. He refused to acknowledge it saying that they can close "whenever they want today". I then said to him, again, that what he is advertising on the window to his customers is not in accordance with what he is doing now. His simply said "fine" and turned his back. I then asked him whether we must leave or if we can be served? He completely ignored me like a little 5 year old child.

I have been with MTN for many years and expect better service than this. That was awful.
