DT-order deduction after service cut

On 22-02-2013 I gave notice to stop my subs as I was past my contract period. As a confirmation of my request I got a sms to this effect with ref no:97323484.

This request indicated my service to stop on 31-03-2013. On 27-03-2013 MTN decided to cut my service early. I had lost the air time I still had on my account for the next 5 days.

MTN decided to still go ahead and put forward the DT-order when the service was suspended. I went to a branch and got informed I have to phone 808 although a had no service and the branch can;t do anything in this matter as I have to arrange it with accounts.

Further I would like to warn customers that MTN keep on deducting the DT-order before the 1st of the month as arranged and in this case they deducted on the 28th of month due to the long Easter weekend.

Who would be liable if there was a cost from the bank for no funds in the bank account?
