Further to my complaint, Vodacom responded with a cell call and the consultant tried to talk me through connecting to wifi on my new smart phone. The problem was I was not at home in the vicinity of the hotspot in question so I tried later in the day with no success. I did ask for his cell number knowing I would have a problem, but it is 'Company Policy' that they not give out their numbers so here I am back at square one.
