This is an email I have sent to my lawyer, I want you to take this up and ingvestigate before I go further
I had a contract that I took out with CellC, the South Africa network provider about two years ago. after getting all the documentations, I got my first statement which billed me an amount of R4120, this was puzzling as I was only quoted and contacted to pay an amount of R169 a month. I had a dispute session with Cell C for 3 month, which reflected bad on my ITC records. I did a lot work to try and prove to Cell C that I was never in any contractual agreement of paying an upfront fee of R3600 for the cellphone as this was their justification. Eventually after the bad experience, they terminated the contract and I never received no notifications and no statement of any sort, however I kept the cellphone because I was never advised to return it. This was all two years ago. To my surprise, I got a text message from lawyer called MBD INC stating that I needed to make a payment to CellC to avoid a bad impact on my Credit Record, I contacted them and was advised that Cell C has placed my name for collections with them as i owed them an amount of R3600
