DATA CONTRACT STILL NOT ACTIVE

On Sunday 10 March I went to MTN Cedar Square (my 5th attempt to go to a branch that day)* and arrived around 11am. I wanted to sign for a new 500mb data package including 3G dongle. I explained it was a present and I needed it urgently. The lady said it would normally take 24-48 hours but she would try to push the central admin and would give me a call before they closed at 3pm that day.
I have still not received the SIM and dongle. After a week, I contacted the branch to find out about the delay. The excuse: the clerk who processed my application had been sick since then...
And yet today, more than a week after THAT, I still dont have my SIM and dongle. The branch is now blaming MTN central for slow processing of the application.

* The first branch I queried on the Web, Chili Lane, opens at 8am on Sundays according to [URL Removed] so I went there. The sign on the door told me they were closed on Sundays. I then tried Boulders in Midrand, but the centre looked decrepit, so i moved on. Neither Fourwats Mall nor Fourways Crossing answered their phones (this was after 10am) so I went to Cedar Square - branch number 5).
