Unsatisfied service from Vodacom 4U after upgrade

On 20 March I (Nico Fassen) went to Vodacom4U at Clearwater Mall in Roodepoort (0116794153) to upgrade my cellphone to a iPhone 5 64 GB. After 2.5 hours (approx. 19:30) for the simswop to activate I open the phone to browse. After 15 min, As I plugged the earphone into the socket, the glass cracked. I packed the phone back into the box and took is back to the 4U office the next morning @ 09:00. I was told by Morne (the sales person) that I if anything goes wrong with the phone with in 7 days they will swop the phone.
The lady at 4U then told me they must send it for repairs and it will take 7days. Tuesday 26 March I phone them and was told that my claim has been rejected. The reason: "Physical damage". According to the Vodacom Care branch at Cresta. I then phone the Cresta office and spoke to Vincent (0114764255) After I told him what happened and that I did not damage the phone, he told me that it is impossible and that people leave the phone with keys in their pockets that can cause it. He also said if it was factory batch fault more people would complained. I asked him what if I am the first person of the batch?? I ask for the manager to phone me but up to now no reply.
