I took my phone to the Vodacom repair shop because my network was not picking up, that was on Friday (22 March) and my husband got an sms that is fixed on Saturday. I went there Saturday to pick up my cellphone. On the report it was written that the IMEI was not a Vodacom phone and will not be fixed under warranty even though the activation date was written below the message. I asked what was wrong with the phone, and they said Software upgrade. When I got home and switched on the phone, still had a problem. I then took it back on Sunday and I asked them again about what is written on the report and they said it is not a Vodacom phone, they checked the system and got the activation date which was already on the report. Now it is Tuesday (26 March), I am still waiting for my phone. They said it is fixed the first time and never tested to see that it is picking up the Network. While I was there we tested using 3 SIM cards, and it was not picking up the network.
