WHERE IS MY AIRTIME AND BIS?

I took out an 8ta mobile 2 year contract in February providing R100 airtime & BIS. It was a bolt-on to my existing telkom line which provided me with 30mins anytime per month, free eve & w/e calls, 5megs dsl data.

Firstly I thought I had raced through my R100 airtime - I had no real idea of how far R100 went with 8ta. Then I got a message saying I had run out of my promotional data package. I phoned Telkom and they assured me that I did have BIS. However, periodically when I tried to go onto the internet a message would come up saying I had run out of data. It took me quite a while to realise that my data-part of my phone was only working at home - off the wifi and I infact had no BIS. Infact no R100 monthly airtime either!

10 hours of calls later and each dept says that as it is the other depts problem.

I went ito Telkom in Rosebank but they couldn't help either. I was advised a couple of weeks ago that I can also not port my number. Also, when I was put onto the Telkom mix I lost my 30 mins anytime Telkom calls.

I've now spent a further hour on the phone trying to cancel my contract but even then I can't be put through to the correct dept.
