I am a student living in the Waterkloof area, and I really need internet. I called telkom in February and ordered an ADSL line for our house. I received an order number and everything was in order. 2 weeks later I received an SMS of all things to inform me that due to cable in my area, they are unable to install my internet. All this while Telkom themselves are testing new 40mbps lines in my area. Guess they think I'm stupid too. Went to the branch in Menlyn, ordered my adsl again. They didn't warn me about cable. Received a phone stating the previous problem once again. This time though, I received a bill asking me to pay R760 for adsl I have yet to receive. I don't have time to drive to Telkom everytime they something up.
