About 2 months ago, I found wE were having very poor 3G and cellfone reception in the PMB area in KZN. Seemed it was a general problem in the area.
Customer care of Cell C was connected and they logged the fault. About ^ calls later still nothing was done.
Finally a smart customer care person logged fault with technical dept.
Several reference numbers later, still nothing was done, so I persisted and eventually using reference numbers, got tecnical team to come to area and test signal.
A faulty tower was found 1.4km away. Tower was then removed, and I was told that it will be repaired or replaced, and then tecnical team would come back and test again.
Till today, nothing has been done. I have made over 4 calls to follow up, and keep getting told that someone will fone me with feedback, to no avail.
Everyone in the area paying for the service, is NOT getting any service. Internet connection is almost non existent. Our cellfone signal is so bad that we can almost not be heard.
I am paying a monthly contract fee, and have 2 prepaid data services with Cell C, and I am not getting the service.
WHEN IS THE TOWER BEING REPLACED/REPAIRED?
WHY MUST I PAY IF THERE IS NO SERVICE?
