I took out a cell phone contract and bought a year's prepaid data earlier this year. Since the beginning the reception was terrible with practically no 3G or even edge speeds. Calls get dropped constantly and most calls just go directly to voice mail. I went back to Cell C Brackenfell to be told that there is a major problem with the Cell C tower in Brackenfell and that it will take a few months for the new tower to be build. So a logged a call with the service centre in Tyger Valley shopping center on the 17th of August. To this day I have not received feedback on what the problem is and what Cell C will do about it. Meanwhile I must be happy that my 24GB prepaid data is basically useless and my iPhone cannot work properly because of a voice and data service that is barely working (to be kind).
