Telkom Simple deal..."NOT SO SIMPLE!!! "

SHOCKING SERVICE
I have applied for a Telkom Simple offer on the 22nd of September 2013 and to date, the service is not up and running at my home. I have had numerous telephone conversations with the 10210 Call Centre following up on my request. All that I received was excuses that there are technical issues with the network and that there is no infrastructure in the estate for the service, of which I fail to believe as many residents in the estate have the services already. As per my last telephonic communication with the technician that promised to come out the past Saturday 23rd November of which we have received a sms confirming this... never happened!
I have also been told that I need to get my own electrician to run the wires from the Telkom box to the inside of my house... surely this is not common practice and if I am apply for the services of Telkom... I should not be incurring any cost apart from my month subscription.
I have also taken 2 days off from work already for the installation that never transpired and am in no position to take off any further days. What one would assume to be a "simple" process, has turned into a nightmare!!!
