How is this possible that I can be billed R2.60 for 25kb of Data? I have received a notification that my outstanding bill is over R4500 for 61mb of Roaming Data used in my trip to Mozambique last week.
When I phone to enquire about this the call centre agent informed me that it is my responsibility to phone them and enquire about the cost of data for which country I am visiting. How should I know that I should enquire first?
To charge R2.60 per 25kb is just plain and I refuse to pay that. MTN should have informed me when I crossed the border that the charge in that country for calls and roaming data would be that expensive.
This is just pathetic and now they extort money from customers by exploiting ingnorance. So much for consumer protection and customer care.
