Phone broken due to Physical Damage

I received an upgrade phone on the 14th September 2012, a Nokia E5. A couple of weeks ago the phone gave a SIM Registration Failed error, and we took the phone in to have it looked at. When the phone came back from repairs they said one of the pins of the SIM was broken due to physical damage, and that I need to pay R2004 for repairs.

This is ridiculous, the only time the SIM was removed, was to investigate the Error on the Phone. I have not dropped the phone before, so I cannot believe that it was physical damage. Please can this be investigated, as I feel I am being robbed. I feel that either the phone needs to be repaired under Warranty, or needs to be replaced.

On another note, my monthly statements have been moved to E-Mail as per request from Autopage, but I have only received a Statement for January, and that is the last. Please sort out the Statements, as my account is on Debit Order, and I cannot see what I am being billed for.
