After being contacted by a Cell C salesperson on Monday 18 Mar I arranged for a new phone to be delivered. The sales person discussed at length as to when the phone was to be delivered - after 4:30pm on Friday - as I was in Cape Town. This was confirmed 3 times by myself and the salesperson. He said that he would give instructions to the courier company to this effect.
Today - Wednesday 20 March - the courier company attempted to deliver my phone. There was no one authorised there to receive it.
Why can Cell C not get a simple matter like this correct?
Will Cell C now give the correct instructions to the courier company?
Will Cell C try to charge me if my phone cannot be delivered?
This is typical Cell C incompetence.
My previous isse took over 7 weeks to be resolved because the person assigned to deal with it (Sisa Flatela) did not read or respond to my emails. CellC has my email address - I am expecting to receive one of their "sorry for the inconveniance" mails and nothing will be done.
