Hi Cell C and the general public,
I'm going to try type this as rational and logical as I can, but I did inform Cell C that if we could not come to a resolution I would have to go public with regards to my experience.
This is also an attempt to create awareness on Cell C's aggressive sales and marketing strategy.
I've concluded that Cell C are more interested in potential customers, than existing customers.
Here is my story:
About a year ago, I got a random call from Cell C telling me that I am one of the lucky few that qualifies for a particular package. I have been specifically selected etc. I did get brainwashed into thinking I was actually getting something really unique to everyone else and verbally agreed. Cell C said they would drop my phone off at my company's address. But the phone never arrived!
I NEVER EVER took possession of the cell phone. Cell C have also not confirmed that the phone was ever delivered, and if so to whom it was delivered to?
I only noticed almost a year later!!! that R59.01 was being deducted from my account every month for a service I have never used!
What is my next step to take in getting Cell C to hear my cries?
