Two weeks ago (5 March) first our landline and then adsl line went dead. After the problem was reported we were assured that it would be rectified by the Friday (8 March). Nothing happened. So the following week we complained and wer promised that it would be solved asp. When that didn't happen and we complained again and were told that the technicians had to come out seeing that there was a problem with the line, but they would do this on 17 March (a Sunday?!)! Nothing happened. Ok, so on Monday we were told that 1. it is a general problem in the area (well it seems all our neighbours are connected!) and 2. that it could not be repaired on the Sunday because the whole team were not available and 3. and it can take 3 to 6 weeks! Impossible.
I really pity the people in the call centre because they have had to endure the brunt of my anger... BUT it seems that NOTHING happens further. I don't want to hear what the problem is, neither that it has been escalated or empty promises that I will receive a call back... I want the lines to be FIXED! As simple as that.
Phew, wish this company was not partly state-owned and have been having us on for years! Where is the competition!!!
