MTN Porting despicable

I ported my number from Cellc to MTN last week Thursday (14 March 3013). I checked in at the store on Monday again to do a follow up and according to the gentleman, the porting is still being processed. It's been nearly a week now and I'm still waiting. My Cellc sim is still working as per norm and my new MTN sim says inactive. What should I do? Can it be that difficult to move networks? Arghhhhh
