My partner has a CellC prepaid sim and since he signed on for a MTN contract 2 weeks ago, he asked the MTN sales guy to port his CellC number to MTN. The sales guy said that its sitting in CellC's side but its taking too long!
Its been 2 weeks and he cannot use his contract as his MTN sim is not activated. He basically paying for nothing as his number has not been ported as yet.
What is taking so long to port a number? Why do we have to wait for over 2 weeks to port a number?
