My first experience with telkom. About 6 weeks ago I signed up for a dsl line through telkom, my first issue was the sales person never made it a dsl line. So I had to go back and go through an upgrade process, then when I got an SMS saying it was active, it never worked.
I only got an active line after 4 weeks and after about 20 calls and multiple reference numbers. 3 engineers came to my house within this period under the impression they had come to fix a normal phone line account, even though I had gone through the upgrade to dsl. Eventually a fourth engineer was issued and tells me it must be at the exchange. His last words where he will sort it out... NOTHING HAPPENED. I had to follow up and tell the technical phone support to check the exchange. Eventually one day the line starts working. Then after about a week of slow internet (not the 10mb line I have installed) it has stopped again. So now I have another reference number for another repair at the exchange. Please sort it out. I have been paying my ISP now for two months with out Internet.
