BLACKBERRY Z 10

On 2 March 2013 I upgraded my existing Blackberry Torch to the Blackberry Z10 at about 3pm. On Saturday night the new Blackberry Link software crashed my laptop about 6 times until I was able to delete the program. On Sunday I found out I could not download WhatsApp Messenger as this is not possible yet on the Z10. I also attempted to do a Blackberry update from my old Torch to the Z10 - this was not compatable. On Monday 3 March 2013, morning 8:30 I telephoned the Krugersdorp branch of MTN and advised them the Z10 was not suitable for my needs and that I wanted a different phone for my upgrade. Eventually on Thursday 6 March I was told by the branch to bring my Z10 in to be sent to MTN for check up. Only after the result will they let me know if my contract can be changed to a different phone of my choice. This is not satisfactory as I indicated within 48 hours that the phone did not meet my needs as I have to have WhatsApp messenger to communicate with my husband and family. Also I have rights in terms of the Consumer Act to claim redress for an inferior product which the Z10 definitely is. I am still waiting on MTN and my new phone.
