Data was recently downloaded from my account which I beleive was not done by me. In order to proof this I need a report from Vodacom, clearly showing which IP address as well as Mac adresses was used when this data was downloaded. First I phoned the call center to request such a report, after which the agent promised me that the report will be emailed to me within 48 hours. After a week I decided to phone back and complain. Within a day someone phoned me back confirming that the data was downloaded, not what I asked. I decided to visit the Vodacom Menlyn branch to try to get a report from there. The agent again promised that I will have my report within a week, at the time of writing this compliant three weeks has passed already without seeing any report. Is Vodacom hiding something, I do not understand why such a report is not produced yet. I in the mean time had to pay the R 4500, 00 account, rather a big increase taking into account my account normally comes to R 1600. All I need is a report, just to see how and who downloaded the data.
