Leonardo sold me an upgrade to a BlackBerry Cell C contract (my first smartphone).
I was concerned about costs but was assured Cell C had one of best deals on market for BlackBerries at the time. I would only be paying one amount for 50 free minutes, 50 free smss, 50MB data (which, I was assured, I may not even use as Id be using internet via BlackBerrys service). I SPECIFICALLY asked if there are ANY HIDDEN COSTS and was assured Id only pay for downloading large attachments from internet and for calls/smss beyond free ones.
I paid for BlackBerry services separately until new contract started in March. Now, Im told it is not included in the cost for which I signed and must pay for it in addition.
Carl (manager) tells me I can either pay it or cancel contract (with penalty fees). He told me I can log CPA complaint but as I signed contract I cant really do anything about it - it is my word against Leonardos (how will he even remember what he said to me that day)?
They dont have a record of their Dec deals to double-check if they perhaps explained 1 deal to me then made me sign another? I saw lots of deals on market for similar price ALL INCLUDED.
