Told to wait two weeks. Have waited two months!

After calling the Vodacom call centre to cancel my contract (it was actually the end of my contract) I was asked why I am doing this. I informed the nice gentleman that I received a better deal from MTN. He then said that I must take the deal to a Vodacom branch and they will try to match or better the deal inorder to keep my business. I did this and the Branch Manager requested a whole bunch of information and told me he would get back to me with either the good or the bad news within two weeks. This was at the end of December 2012, It is now March 2013 and I have heard nothing. This poor service is bordering on comical but I am definitely not laughing. I will now take out a contract with any other service provider because customer service means a lot to me.
