On Feb 15, 2013 I went to Menlyn Cell C branch to enroll for the APPLE IPHONE 5 16GB on Straight up 200 deal. The consultant in the branch told me that I should rather take the Samsung (at a higher cost) because "it is a better phone". After telling him 3 times I don't want the samsung he said "we don't have any stock in store. Maybe get a deal from 8ta" - I wish I'd listen to his advice. I then submitted the online request on [URL Removed] for the deal. I am still waiting for someone to call me back. I then called Cell C and enrolled for the deal. The phone would have been delivered more than a week ago. I called the service center 3 times, holding the line respectively for 40, 45 and 35 minutes. No answer. I send 3 sms enquiries to 084 14329 - no reply to date. I send an email to [Email Removed] - no reply to date. Eventually I called 084 145 again, holding for 40 minutes. I took them another 10 more minutes to tell me there is no stock. To date (March 5) I have not received the phone. This is ridiculous that a customer need to spend an average of 40 minutes on the phone to get help because none of the other avenues are working. I am canceling my contract.
