This complaint is not only directed to 8.ta but to all NETWORK providers it is really unethical and immoral to hide certain charges from the customer. I mean we sign a contract and we are only advised about the connection and the amount advertised for the specific phone however when the month end statement comes its a different story.
i recently got an iphone and blackberry bold from 8.ta cresta on the 5th of feb for R458 and R498 respectively. i was advised tht the subscription fee for iphone iis R200 and blackberry R0 with BIS inclusive and the Iphone MB were prorated. however i just received a R1 803.17 bill which does not incorporate the prorated amount and even has cost ive heard nothing of such as Installation for R315.71 and BIS for R109.57 and BB subcription fee R200 amongst many other cost. all i know is that my bill is suppose to be less than R1156.
ive contacted heita several times on other matters such as problematic iphone and they were far from helpful.
