I cancelled my Vodacom contract at the end of January 2013 by sending in an email with my ID attached. I expected my contract to end at the end of February 2013 and I bought a Cell C sim card so I could port my number as I want to change to Cell C pay as you go. I received a message that I am not allowed to port and it seems that my contract has not been cancelled.
As usual I have tried to email and phone to find out why this is the case, but as usual I have had no response.
Vodacom, please cancel my contract as I requested!
I object also to having to send a fax in order to cancel the contract. An email with a copy of my ID should be sufficient.
