This morning my Telkom voice line went out of commission. I logged a fault on the Telkom website at 0900 and within seconds received an email giving me the fault reference no and advising me that I would be kept informed of progress in restoring my service via SMS. A short while later I received an SMS informing me that the fault had been passed on to Telkom's Tech Repair Division for further attention. A technician arrived at my home at 1230 and my service was fully restored by 1245.
A four-hour turn around from fault report to service restoration is nothing short of world class - in fact, it's probably better than world class. Telkom's Tech Repair Division need to be commended for achieving this first rate performance. Keep it up!
